FAQS

  • Should I just book direct with the resort or cruise line?
You can book direct but why would you? We can provide you with a wide variety of travel options from a number of different cruise lines and travel suppliers to countless popular destinations. We are able to inform you of special promotions, incentives and deals, so you can get the most out of your vacation dollars. If something goes wrong, do you want to wait on hold for a call center employee to come on the line to try and assist you or would you rather the personal attention of your very own travel advisor; who is trained to quickly and efficiently solve problems?
  • Do I need a passport?
For all international destinations a US passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your return travel date is required. Non US citizens need to contact the consulate for the country they are visiting to determine entry requirements. It is the responsibility of the traveler to verify and obtain all necessary documentation needed for your trip. Further, any minors traveling without both legal parents or guardians need to travel with a notarized letter of consent. For more information visit www.state.gov/travel/
  • What is the difference between a passport book and a passport card?
A passport card may be used to cross the border by land from the United States to Canada or Mexico. You may also use it for closed- loop- cruises and begin and at the same US port. A passport card cannot be used for flying or for cruises that are not closed loop. For these trips, you must have a valid passport.
  • Do I really need to purchase travel insurance?
Although you are not required to purchase travel insurance it is absolutely recommended. In most instances, even if you have health insurance through your employer, or some other source, the coverage does not extend to other countries. If you need medical attention, you will have to pay out-of-pocket and you may not be allowed to leave until you do so. Other coverages can include reimbursement for trip delay or interruption, loss baggage, missed flights, etc. Ask our team members about coverage doing the planning process.
  • The cost of most trips was based on double occupancy, but travel companion can no longer go. What are my options?
You have several options, one option is to find the replacement for your travel companion. If that is not possible, you may be required to pay more for a single occupancy reservation For our escorted tours, single matching is available. If none of these options work for you, you may cancel your reservation there will be a cancellation fee assessed. Know before you go.
  • What immunization do I need?
Check with your doctor and Travel.state.gov regarding immunizations and other requirements for countries you are entering and for re-entry into the United States.
  • Are there things I should do before we go?
Check with your cell service provider regarding international calling plans, Inform your credit card company that you will be using your credit card in different countries. Bring your debit card for ATM withdrawals. Exchange some US currency for currency of the country you are entering so that you will have a bit of local currency for the first day in the country you're visiting. Purchase universal adapters.
